He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Bern Floyd, Sr. and Lois Hartness Floyd; his wife Janice Davis Floyd; and his daughter Karen Floyd Gregory. He is survived by: his children, Daniel Bern Floyd III of Lincoln, NE and Layne Floyd Monteiro (Pete) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, P. J. Monteiro (Heather), Hannah Monteiro, David Gregory (Cassidy), Sarah Gregory, Morgan Floyd, Rian Floyd, Devan Floyd, Haydn Floyd and Cooper Floyd; his great grandchildren, Kylee and Alice Gregory; and his brother Jim Floyd of Virginia.
