She is survived by: her husband Jimmy Godwin; her children, Wesley Thomas and Brianna Hicks; her siblings, Kenneth David Hicks, Jr. of Providence, NC, David Lee Hicks of Newton, NC, Jackson Ray Hicks of Georgia and Mary Elizabeth Herndon; and her nephew Christopher Lee Hicks.
