He is survived by: his wife Lou Ellen Burns; his children, Miss Shawanna Burns of Lumberton, Shannon Burns (Robby) of Maxton and Charles Burns; his siblings, Sanford Burns (Teat) of Maxton, Grantford Oxendine of Lumberton, Betty Kilrow of Rowland and Lillian McKenzie of Aberdeen; his grandchildren, Sydney, Jaydan, Hailey, Braylon, Brannon, Jayce, Elias and Dakota; and his great grandchildren, Rayleigh and Zaylon.
