She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Carmack and Minnie Carmack; her husband Warner Douglas Newberry; her siblings, Earl, Bill, Douglas, Harold, Robert, Margie, Bobbi Jean and Ada; her stepdaughter Marilyn Sparks; and her granddaughter Pasha Stidham.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Abbott (Shelby) of Lumberton, NC, Debbie Wilkins (David) of Bladenboro, NC and Dennis Newberry of Loveland, CO; her stepchildren, Deborah Stidman of Lumberton, NC and Doug Newberry, Jr. of Lumberton, NC; and her brothers, Lloyd Carmack (Pat) of Ohio, Jimmy Carmack of Ohio and Jack Carmack of Ohio. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.
