He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernestine Willis McGugan and Daniel Brown McGugan. He is survived by: his wife Joy Atkinson McGugan; his children, Hanna Leigh McGugan of Atlanta, GA and William Daniel McGugan (Karen Connor McGugan) of Raleigh, NC.; and his grandchildren, Clayton Daniel McGugan and Catherine Joy McGugan. He is also survived by his loving siblings.
