He was predeceased by: his parents, Luther McBryde and Mary Patterson McBryde; his sister Jacqueline Kershaw; and his mother-in-law Georgianna Mitchell. He is survived by: his wife Sheila Mitchell McBryde; his children, Quentin McBryde (Shanta) of Lillington, NC, Alisha McBryde of Red Springs, NC, Briana McBryde of Kannapolis, NC, Trinity McBryde, Taylor McRae (Kwamai), Ryan McBryde of Fayetteville, NC, Zyquez McBryde and Zaiya McBryde; his brother William; his parents-in-law, Alfred Mitchell Sr. (Marcella) of Rowland, NC and Vivian McCallum of Charlotte, NC; his aunts, Flora Jane McBryde of Red Springs, NC and Ola Mae McBryde of Maxton, NC; and his close friends, James Williams of Red Springs, NC, James Greene of San Diego, CA, Edric Gowdy and Navy. He is also survived by nine grandchildren.
