She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe Drew and Nora Turner Drew; her husband Melvin Moore Holmes; her daughters, Lynda Benton and Mary Holmes Thompson; and her brothers, J. T. Drew, Frank Drew, Howard Drew and Samuel Drew.
She is survived by: her children, David Holmes of Lumberton, NC and Diane Holmes of Marionville, MO; and her grandchildren, Lane Benton (Vickie Williams), Amanda Benton and Ryan Benton (Beth). She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
