It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ella Mae Fipps (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on February 21, 2019, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Marshall George Fipps; her son Sammy Allen Fipps; and her siblings, Venon Lee, Linwood Lee, Raymond Lee, Ruth Britt and Sadie Stone.
She is survived by: her sons, Kenneth Wayne Fipps of Knoxville, TN and Jimmy Marshall Fipps (Judi) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Allison Scott, Chuck Jernigan, Andrew Fipps, Julie Fipps Hernandez and Jeffrey Fipps; and her sisters, Naomi Conley (Cecil) of Ft. Meyers, FL and Lanie Speights of Lumberton. She is also survived by twelve great-grandchildren.
