With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ertle Max Carter (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on October 16, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Dovie Carter; and his daughter Marcia Carter English. He is survived by: his daughter Terri Carter Collins (Kenny) of Lumberton; and his stepdaughters, LaDonna Stone Adams and Wanda Britt. He is also survived by five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Community Home Care & Hospice, 2402 N. Roberts Ave., Lumberton, N.C., 28358.
