With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Frances Collins of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on March 11, 2022 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Gilbert P. Higley, Sr. and Dola Pittman Higley; her husband Rupert Collins, Jr.; and her daughters, Kerry C. Floyd and Mary C. Dean.
She is survived by: her sons-in-law, Walter Joe Dean, Sr. of Beaufort, NC and Furman Floyd of Fairmont, NC; her daughter Libbey Inabnit (Davis) of Conway, SC; her siblings, Gilbert Higley, Jr. (Shelby) of Lumberton, NC, Ronald Freeman of Lumberton, NC and Von Barber of Castle Hayne, NC; her grandchildren, Jake Dean, Jr., Collins Hewett (Trey), Davis Inabnit, Jr. (Bobbi Dawn) and Ara Heinz (Mike); and her great grandchildren, Mackenzie Faulk, Samantha, Aubrey Heinz, Addison, Kate and Tripp Inabnit.
