He was predeceased by: his parents, Alex Currie Wilkes and Edna Iona Wilkes; his siblings, Albert C. Wilkes and Verlon Wilkes Powers; his children, Greg Wilkes and Angela Jordan; and his wife Patricia Wilkes.
He is survived by: his daughter Tammy Burchette (Bruce Burchette). He is also survived by five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild, as well as nieces and nephews and other special family members.
