It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine Evans (Lumberton, North Carolina), born in Columbus, North Carolina, who passed away on May 25, 2018, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her daughter Donna Kay Evans; and her brother Dan Nance. She is survived by: her husband Charles Ray Evans; her son Charles "Charlie" Ray Evans, Jr.; her wife Dawn of Summerville, SC; her daughters, Debbie Evans of Lumberton, Beth Speerli (Randy) of Wilmington and Georgia Thomas (Tim) of Lumberton; her brother Terry Nance of Chadbourn; and her sister-in-law Hazel Nance of Whiteville. She is also survived by nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
