She was predeceased by: her husband James Nelson Jr.; and her sons, Ronald Bradshaw, Richard McKoy and James Nelson. She is survived by: her siblings, Thomas Russell and Harriet Bryant; her grandson Andre Nelson; her children, Clifford Nelson of Jersey City, NJ, Sharon Nelson of Lumberton, NC and Tony Swinton of Bronx, NY; and her grandchild Nineteen. She is also survived by Nineteen great-grandchildren, two sisters, and a host of nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
