She was predeceased by: her parents, Raymond Phillips and Virginia Phillips; and her siblings, Thomas Phillips, Jackie Phillips and Faye Brown.

She is survived by: her husband James Kenneth; her children, Kenny Tyner (Joy) of Lumberton and Tammy Breeden (Patrick) of Lumberton; her sisters, Peggy Britt (Barry) of Lumberton and Dale Johnson (Danny) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Kenny Tyner, Jr., Matthew Tyner and Savannah McBride; and her great grandchild Owen McBride.
