With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Harold Townsend (Lumberton, North Carolina), who passed away on May 2, 2018 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his sister Grace Townsend Warwick. He is survived by: his wife Peggy "JoAnn" O. Townsend; his children, Sam Townsend (Linda) of Lumberton and Margaret T. Rising (Ricky) of Bladenboro; his grandchildren, Waylon Rising, Jason Townsend and Eric Townsend; his great grandchildren, Brianna Townsend and Jaydon Townsend; and his sister Judy T. Bass of Lumberton.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Raft Swamp Baptist Church, 2766 NC Hwy 72 West, Lumberton, NC 28360.
