She was predeceased by: her parents, Clara Melvin and Benny Melvin; her siblings, Debbie Melvin, Alan Melvin and Ricky Melvin; and her granddaughter Misti Melvin.
She is survived by: her husband Scottie Lynn Locklear; her children, Bo Melvin (Renay) and Jamie Blue of Rowland; her grandchildren, Aubrey Melvin, Alyssa Schular and Justice Jacobs; her siblings, Peggy Rhinerson (Greg) of Indiana, Mike Melvin (Gail) of Lumberton and Charlie Melvin (Vickie) of Pembroke; and her children, Heather Melvin and Antonio Melvin of Lumberton. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
