He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Scott and Alice Ferguson, Jr.. He is survived by: his wife Violet Thompson Crawford; his children, Jeffery Scott Crawford of Youngsville, NC, Andrew Charles Crawford of Charlotte, NC and Melinda Sue Rossie of Charlotte, NC; and his sisters, Charlotte Duquette of Whitinsville, MA and Cheryl Postma of Whitinsville, MA. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Anitoch Baptist Church, 5089 Old Whiteville Road, Lumberton, NC 28358.
