He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Locklear Sr. and Gertha Jacobs Locklear; and his sisters, Maggie Rose Chavis and Linda Joyce Oxendine. He is survived by: his children, Jacqueline L. McLaughlin (Bill) of Shannon, India Kay Jones of Pembroke, Lisa Michelle Locklear (Gregory) of Lumberton and David Glen Graham of Lumberton; his siblings, Rev. Howard Locklear Jr. (Linda) of Laurinburg, Rev Greg Locklear (Millie) of Linden, Michael Lee Locklear (Brenda) of Maxton, Rena Louise Locklear of Wakulla and Wanda Locklear McCall (Jeffrey) of Spring Lake; his uncle Henry Locklear of Toney; his aunt Madie Rae Locklear of Maxton; and his friend Master Alexander Wayne Floyd. He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
