He was predeceased by: his parents, Giles M. Reaves and Bertha Alford Reaves. He is survived by: his wife Mona B. Reaves; his children, Howard Reaves, Jr. (Lisa) of Lumberton, NC, Joseph Martin Reaves (Beverly) of Lumberton, NC, John Mark Reaves (Melissa) of Rowland, NC, Cheryl Reaves Faulk (Jerry) of Lumberton, NC and Ramona Gaye Carroll of Lumberton, NC; and his sister Patsy Lowe of Burlington, NC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
