We are sad to announce that on June 21, 2019, at the age of 91, Howard Porter (Lumberton, North Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lizzie J. Porter; his daughter Carolyn Porter; his siblings, Cattie Mae Hunt, Blanche Hunt, Blonnie Mae Hunt, Hazel Ransom and Little Richard Porter; and his stepchildren, Joyce K. Locklear and Tony Kerns.
He is survived by: his stepson Rev. Chalmers; and his brothers, Harold Porter and Robert Porter. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren, a great number of great grandchildren along with nieces, nephews and family and friends.
