Huvetta Smith Obituary

We are sad to announce that on January 13, 2021, at the age of 72, Huvetta Smith of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her daughter Tanya Evett; her parents, Dewey Thompson and Nettie Thompson; her grandparents, Galloway and Bessie Thompson; her parents-in-law, Rudolph and Virginia Smith; her siblings, Johnsie Hedgpeth, Betty Hedgpeth and Junior Thompson; her brother-in-law Wayne Smith; and her nephew Jackson Griffin.

She is survived by: her husband Kenny R. Smith; her son Phillip W. Smith; her adoptive daughter Kimberly Walters; her granddaughters, Allie and Casey Eyers; her sisters, Carolyn Hardee and Lynda Nealy; her siblings-in-law, Pattie Griffin (Jack), Anga Smith and Gene Smith (Alberta); and her friends, Addie and Jeanette. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, and cousins.
