She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos B. Sealey and Frances Floyd Sealey; her husband Bobby L. Carter; her brothers, Wayne B. Sealey and Larry W. Sealey; and her great grandchild Abigail Thrush.
She is survived by: her children, Anthony Carter (Twyla) of Lumberton, Pam C. Walters (Ronnie) of Lumberton and Sheila Maxwell (Chuck) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Nicole Martin (James), Ginny Stallings, Hollie Thrush (Aaron) and Ashley Carter; her great grandchildren, Jordan Martin, Sarah Martin, Paeton Stallings, Makenzie Carter, Matthew Thrush, Nathan Thrush and Austin Thrush; her sisters, Gail Fields of Lumberton and Violet Lewis (Bobby) of Fairmont; her sister-in-law Pansy Sealey of Longs, SC; and her close friend Linda Martin.
