He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Janie Mae Mitchell; his children, Paula Richardson Thomas (Michael), Vernell L. Campbell of New York, Patricia Ann Davis of New York, Phyllis J. Brown (Dean) of New York, Yvonne Lewis Johnson (Kevin) of New York, Lateesha Wilson of New York, Derrick H. Lewis of New York and Christopher Wilson of New York; his sisters, Leatrice McKoy of Elizabethtown, NC. and Verda Melvin of Elizabethtown, NC.; his grandchildren, Erica (Robert), Carol, Kim (DaMarcus), Wayne (Coco), Maurice, Bre, Ahana, Jason, Alvin, Micah, Sherline, Ebony, Sharell, Semaj, Rashawn, Mercedes, Jamel, Dominique, Tiesha, Kevin, Melissa, Nick, Euneece, Ursula, Destiny and Justin; his brother-in-law Bishop Clifton Ellis; and his daughters-in-law, Minister Roslyn Richardson and Ollie Richardson. He was also cherished by nineteen great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
