We are sad to announce that on July 3, 2021, at the age of 77, Jerry Braxton Smith of Lumberton, North Carolina passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Smith and Lela Smith; his son Jeffery Carroll Smith; and his siblings, Billy Smith (Betty), Leroy Smith (Nancy), Milton Smith and Melba Broadaway (Joe).
He is survived by: his wife Mary Smith; his children, Joey Smith (Stephanie) of Lumberton and Amy Clewis (David) of Lumberton; his siblings, Wallace Smith (Nancy) of Lumberton and Helen Wilkins (David) of Lumberton; his grandchildren, Zach Smith, Ethan Clewis, Riley Clewis, Jordan Smith and Garret Smith; and his sister-in-law Janie Smith. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Abe Branch Holiness Church, located at 965 Marsh Rd., Bladenboro, NC.
