He was predeceased by: his parents, Labon Britt and Clelia Prevatte Britt; and his sister Edna Joyce Britt Lawson. He is survived by: his wife Laura Betty Britt; his sons, William Britt of Wilmington, NC, Tracy Britt of Lumberton and Phillip Britt (Jillian) of Atlanta, GA; and his siblings, Morris Britt (Elva) of Lumberton, Carlton Britt of Lumberton and Betty Lawson (George) of Lumberton. He is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
