She was predeceased by: her husband John A. Hunt; her son Johnny C. Hunt; and her siblings, Walter Hammonds, Clarence Hammonds, Rudolph Hammonds, Redell Hammonds, Lula Mae Hunt, Lorraine Lovering, Margaret Hunt, Girlene Bainbridge, Annie Mae Hammonds, Esterlene Lowery and Linda Hammonds.
She is survived by: her children, Terry Hunt (Rita), Stevie Hunt (Beth), Franke Hunt, Rodney Hunt (Ashlea), Wanda Locklear (Johnny) of Lumberton, Betty Locklear of Lumberton and Paula Jones of Lumberton; and her sister Bonnie Fields of Rhode Island. She is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; three great- great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephew, relatives and friends.
