She is survived by: her husband Freddie T. Hornbuckle; her daughter Virginia "Gini" Hornbuckle Dalton (Tod) of Greensboro; her grandchildren, James Dalton and Ada Dalton; and her siblings, Don Leo Ward, Jr. of Holden Beach and Lynn Rice of Lumberton.
