It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Russell Hunt of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on September 17, 2021, at the age of 61, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his mother Myrtle H. Oxendine; and his sister Patricia Hardin. He is survived by: his wife Kathy C. Hunt; his son Johnathan Hunt (Jessica) of Pembroke, NC; his sisters, Peggy Strickland (Earl) of Lumberton, NC and Kay Neal Locklear of Lumberton, NC; his granddaughter Mesha Hunt; and his siblings' children, Tonya Hunt and Lee Marvin Hunt. He is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family and friends.
