He is survived by: his wife Betty Parker Bass; his daughter Heather Bass of Hope Mills, NC; his stepchildren, Jerry Martin (Helen) of Bladenboro, NC and Vickie Britt (H. T.) of Lumberton, NC; his brothers, James Britt (Carol) of Lumberton, NC, Gordon Britt (Pam) of Fairmont, NC and Ernest Locklear (Linda) of Lumberton, NC; his grandchildren, Carson Lueth, Kylie Duffel, Jennifer Britt, Krystal Britt and Jeremy Martin (Wendy); his great grandchildren, Jamison Britt and Mileigh Martin; and his friend Gary Maynor of Lumberton.
