She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Suggs and Alma Burney Suggs; and her sister Marilyn Humphrey. She is survived by: her husband James David Nicholson; her daughters, Kendra Nicholson Noonan (Joseph, Jr.) of Cary, NC and Myra Nicholson Waddell (Kirk) of Greenville, NC; and her grandchildren, Emma, Tessa Waddell, Nicholas, Matthew and Bradley Noonan.
