He was predeceased by: his parents, Justin Byrd, Sr. and Gladys Mincey Byrd; and his wife Quintalyn. He is survived by: his children, Jason Byrd of Lumberton, NC and Emily Byrd (Ron Carter) of Lumberton, NC; and his brother Jerry Byrd of Lumberton, NC.. He is also survived by four grandchildren.
