She is survived by: her children, Sean Sweat (Angela) of Lumberton and Stephanie Sweat; her stepchildren, Christy Strickland Bryant (Jason) of Lumberton and Steven "Porky" Strickland (Shannon) of Lumberton; her siblings, Billy Jernigan (Anita) of Red Springs, Kenny McDowell (Amy) of Lumberton, Sandy McDowell (Earl) of Pittsburgh, PA and Patty Russell (Ronnie) of Orrum; and her grandchildren, Brooke Strickland Reynolds, Carlie Strickland, Gabrielle Rogers, Ian Sweat and Emma Sweat. She is also survived by two great-grandchildren, and her loving dog, Teedo; and a host of other nieces and nephews.
