She was predeceased by: her husband Zeb Locklear; her parents, Katie Oxendine and James Tyler Oxendine; her sons, Ricky Locklear, Ronnie Locklear and Mickey Locklear; her sister Arthella McGirt; and her children, Katie Mae Chavis, James Ray McGirt, Carol Sampson and Lisa Thomas.
She is survived by: her children, Jeffery Locklear, Kathy Locklear (Ernest) of Lumberton, Shelia Locklear (Hubert) of Lumberton and Jeffrey Locklear; and her granddaughter Brittany Lynn Locklear. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren.
