She was predeceased by: her parents, Eugene Hoke Meares and Annie Ruth Brock Meares. She is survived by: her brother Kenneth Eugene Meares; her niece Kimberly Meares Walsh (Dan); her great-nephews, Gaston "Trey" Floyd III and Harrison Hunter Floyd (Kaitee); Emillia Ruth Floyd.
