He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ford Scott and Rosia Lee Burnett Scott; his former wife Cynthia Lowery Scott; his son Chadd Scott; and his siblings, William Thomas Scott (Jane), Robert Earl Scott (Martha Lee Scott), Edna Lee Scott and Carolyn Scott.
He is survived by: his wife Gloria Locklear Scott; his sons, Corey Scott (Whitney) and Derek Scott (Porsha); his stepdaughters, Stephanie Thomas and Jenna Barnes (Colton); his grandchildren, Maliya Danielle Scott, Adler Crew Scott, Aniya Scott, Derek Scott, Jr., Jadelyn Nevaeh Chavis, Ally Harper-Grace Thomas and Ezra Cade Scott; his siblings, Terry Scott (Connie) and Elenor Scott Bell (Travis); and his mother-in-law Mildred Lowery.
