He was predeceased by: his wife Helen Bethea McKinnon; his parents, John Wesley McKinnon and Rosie Lee Hicks; his children, Rosalie Goodman, Leverne McKinnon and Leon McKinnon; and his siblings, John Lewis Mckinnon, Porter Ross McKinnon, Maceo Mckinnon, Melvin McKinnon, Earl Spencer Mckinnon and Esther Lena Mckinnon.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Bethea of Lumberton, NC, Ray Charles McKinnon of Lumberton, NC, Gary McKinnon (Royce) of Lumberton, NC, Jarell McKinnon of Lumberton, NC, John McKinnon (Leona) of Greensboro, NC, Michael McKinnon of Hope Mills, JoAnn McKinnon, Natascha Germinor of Lumberton, Lisa Smith (Preston) of Evergreen and Heather Locklear (Leiland) of Rowland; his siblings, Daniel David Mckinnon of Lumberton, NC., Mae Ford of Lumberton, N. C., Louise Leake (Tommy) of Lumberton, N. C. and Katie Baxter (Calvin) of Lumberton, N. C.; and his sister-in-law Valerie Moore of Lumberton. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren.
