She was predeceased by: her parents, Vonnie Hardin and Annie M. Hardin; her daughter Gwendolyn Sue Smith; and her siblings, Roley Hardin, Clarence Hardin, Larry Hardin, Carly Hardin and Gladys Scott.
She is survived by: her husband John B. Locklear; her son Stephen Locklear (Katie); her siblings, Margaret Lowery (Earl), James Vonnie (Lillian) and Horace Ray (Kathy); and her grandchild Cheyenne Locklear. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren.
