She was predeceased by: her parents, Christopher C. Emanuel and Carrie Lee Emanuel; and her siblings, Robert C. Emanuel, Ertle B. Emanuel, Ernest C. Emanuel and Esther L. Emanuel.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Cox; her children, Donavita "Bucky" Chavis of Lumberton, Tommy R. Cox, Larry D. Cox and Rena Britt (Ronnie) of Lumberton; her grandchildren, Brent A. Montano, Alex Britt of Hope Mills and Caitlan Parker of Raleigh; her great grandchild Emma Lee Montano of Lumberton; her sister Mary E. Jones of Lumberton; her goddaughters, Dr. April Goins-Jones of Fayetteville, Melanie Godwin of Lumberton and Deborah Chavis of Lumberton; and her niece Teresa Rogers of Orrum. She is also survived by relatives and friends.
