It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Frances Scott of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 6, 2021, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, George Memory Rogers and Mary Lou Hardin Rogers; and her siblings, Billy Frank Rogers and Martha Jo Rogers. She is survived by: her husband Layton Scott; her daughters, Mary Beth Pepper (Dave) of Atlanta, GA and Jane Stone (Michael) of Cumming, GA; her sisters, Donna Sparks of Gainesville, FL, Marilyn Bowman of Greensboro, NC and Phyllis Brice (Jimmy) of Elizabethtown, NC; her granddaughter Sarah Barber (Adam); and her great grandchild Jordan Barber.
