She was predeceased by: her husband Leroy Sampson; her sons, Dennis Ray Sampson and Gregory Sampson; and her brother Clarence "PeeWee" Smith. She is survived by: her children, Donnie Sampson, Tammy K. Jacobs (Dalton) of Lumberton, Wanda Gail Locklear (Larry) of Pembroke and Pocolia Lynn Sampson; and her siblings, James Arthur Smith of Lumberton and Annie Smith Chavis of Lumberton. She is also survived by six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
