She was predeceased by: her parents, John B. Meares and Eva Stanley Meares; her husband Ernest Tyson Blake; her sons, Ernest "Ernie" Tyson Blake, Jr. and John Clifton Blake; and her brother J. Stanley Meares.
She is survived by: her daughter Pamela Blake Parmele; her nieces, Marilee Martin (Gaynor) of Durham and Lisa Meares of Raleigh; her great-nephew Jason Elmore (Catherine); and her sister-in-law Linda Meares.
Due to Covid-19 concerns, social distancing will be observed and the use of masks is requested.
