She is survived by: her spouse James Hardin; her parent Bessie B. Sampson of Pembroke; her siblings, Aubrey Sampson, Anslem Sampson of Pembroke, Ilene Richards of Florence, S. C. and Dianne S. Harke of Wilmington; and her granddaughters, Shannon Ray of Charlotte and Toni Sheriff of Greenville. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
