It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Patsy Ann Wilkins of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on January 12, 2022, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Zeb Vance Oxendine, Emmy Hunt, Tommy L. and Emma Lafoza Gibbs Freeman; her parents, Jack Pittman and Hattie Mae Freeman Oxendine; her siblings, Jack Morton Oxendine, Jack Pittman Oxendine, Jr., Zeb Bradley Oxendine, Elizabeth O. Locklear and Delphane Oxendine; her nieces, Marlena Carol Chavis and Fawn Sunshine Oxendine; and her great-nephew Edward Sylvester Oxendine Jr..
She is survived by: her husband David Timothy Wilkins; her stepchildren, Chassitdy Wolfe and Justin Wilkins; her stepgranddaughter Breanna; her parents-in-law, David and Helen Wilkins; her siblings-in-law, Darryl Wilkins (Barbara Ann), Theresa Hatthaway (Dale) of Lumberton, NC and Charlotte Freeman (Teddy) of Lumberton, NC; and her siblings, Lindsey Jacobs (Betty) of Lumberton, Thomas Oxendine (Liz) of Newport News, VA, Anthony Ray Oxendine (Cindy Lou) of East Over, NC, Frankie Lane Oxendine of New Bern, NC, Sylvia J. Lowery (Eugene) of Fayetteville, NC, Geraldyne O. Lewis of Lumberton and JoAnne Leviner of Hope Mills, NC. She is also survived by eight nephews; eight nieces; 11 great-nephews; 13 great-nieces; 2 great-great-nephews; a great-great-niece; and a host of relatives and friends.
