He was predeceased by: his parents, Plummer Hunt and Naomi V. Martin; his sons, Lash Hammonds and Terry Hunt; his grandsons, Lucan and Geronimo Hunt; and his sisters, Gladys Hunt and Mary Dell Lowery.
He is survived by: his brother James Hunt; his children, Glenn Porter (Annette), Larry Hunt (Vickie), Timmy Hunt (Marsha) and Rachel Lewis (Steven); and his daughter-in-law Dale. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 38 great grandchildren; 13 great-great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.
