He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Callahan and Louise Callahan; and his siblings, Lillie Mae Hoppe, Edward "Ed" Callahan, Laverne Callahan and William "Bill" Callahan.
He is survived by: his siblings, Linda Faye Callahan (Chub), Gail Little (Bert), Wanda Barton, Lisa Oxendine (Michelle), Jerry Callahan (Glenda), Ronald "Curly" Callahan (Geneva) and Sammy Callahan; and his close friends, Donald Barnes, Tommy Branch, Russell Baxley, Joe Henson and W. J. Stone. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and extended family.
