It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Ray Edwards Sr. of Lumberton, North Carolina, who passed away on August 30, 2020, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Edwards and Annie Davis Edwards; and his siblings, James Edwards, Henry Edwards and Marcella Newman.
He is survived by: his children, Beverly Edwards of Winnabow, NC, Richard Ray Edwards, Jr. (Brenda) of Owasso, OK, Jimmy Edwards (Yvonne) of Wilmington, NC and Melody Ann Edwards (Jennifer) of Tampa, FL; his brother Harold Edwards (Mary Louise) of Columbia, MS; his grandchildren, Adrienne Gibbs, Angela Eisman, Shane Edwards and Kayla Edwards; and his great grandchildren, Taylor, Savannah, Brynn and Abigail.
