He was predeceased by: his parents, William English Cox and Violet Horne Cox. He is survived by: his wife Brenda E. Cox; his children, Kristy Miller (Mitchell) of Lumberton and Stanley Rogers of Lumberton; his sister Bonnie Nye (Jeff) of Lumberton; and his sibling's children, William Barnes (Sharon) of Georgia, Curtis Barnes (Demarie) of Idaho and Amber Nye of Lumberton.
