He was predeceased by: his parents, Casper Martin and Lillia Bell Draughon Martin; his former wife Rachel Martin; his children, Ronnie Martin and Linda Bullard; and his siblings, Carlton Martin and Dimple Floyd.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Martin; his children, Robert Martin, Jr. of Florida and Donna Sue DiChiara of Lumberton; and his siblings, W. C. Martin of Godwin, NC and Lorraine Bullard of Godwin, NC. He is also survived by grandchildren and many great and great-great grandchildren.
