He was predeceased by: his parents, Gordan Fletcher and Leila Jackson Ivey; his siblings, Jessie, James and Kitty Ivey Keating; and his grandson BJ Tyler.
He is survived by: his children, Robert Ivey, Jr. (Sherlean) of St. Pauls, Terry Ivey of St. Pauls, Diane Dawson (Tony) of St. Pauls and Sheila Monroe (Bobby) of Dunn; and his brother Gordon Ivey, Jr.. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
