He was predeceased by: his parents, Lonnie W. Hardin and Bertha Godwin Hardin; his son Brian Keith Hardin; and his brothers, Lonell Hardin and Jimmy M. Hardin.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Locklear Hardin; his daughter Linda Michelle Hardin; his siblings' children, Felisha Chavis, Phil Chavis and Kevin Chavis Jr.; and his sisters, Rosetta H. Sampson (Eugene) of Lumberton, NC and Selena G. Hardin of Lumberton, NC. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
